Joseph:The Cat That Would Be A Dog

Joseph's ancestors are from ancient Egypt, he is a tabby an energetic, curious and mischievous cat. I have observed him actually climb a wall to catch a fly with success. The funny thing about Joseph is how he struts around the house as if he owns it he thinks he is one of the guys (my two nephews) and he stands guard by the front door. Rest assured he is trying to get out as well, but he growls at what he considers intruders.

Joseph's throne is the love seat in aunt Marie and Kathy's house, and he gets an attitude if you sit over there in his corner. This character does most of his mischief at night when everyone else has gone to bed, you can hear him running across the floor, and don't let your arm hang over the edge of the bed or couch which ever one your sleeping on, it becomes his personal toy.

My favorite thing about Joseph is watching him get into the bath tub under the dripping water and take a shower. I always thought cats did not like water except for drinking, but like I said he is in a category of his own. I really believe he thinks he is a dog, but I invite you to make your own decision on the matter.

A day in King Tut's Life

My Shih Tzu  King Tut believed he ruled Black Jack Mo. particularly the lot my home sat on. I use to call him a little gangster he truly had the Napoleonic syndrome. There was no way he wasn't in control, he even controlled what the big Shepard his nearest neighbor did when they played together. One day while we were away from home someone broke in and stole the computer and other electronics in the house. The robbers left the door cracked when they left and King Tut and my other Shih Tzu Dusty got out, and little did the thieves realize they were being followed by King Tut and his posse of dog friends on the block. When my husband returned home they lead him and the police to the home of the thief who happened to be new to the neighborhood. Everything was recovered and the police dubbed him the Sheriff, and when ever they would see my husband and ask how the number one crime stopper was doing.
